WHAT GLASS DO YOU USE TO MAKE YOUR WATCHES?
Our watches are made with sapphire glass (superior scratch and shock resistance). All Duopod and Chronopod are since end of kickstarter campaign equipped with Sapphire glasses.
HOW MUCH DO THE WATCHES WEIGH?
88 grams for the Duopod, 98 grams for the Chronopod, 118 grams for the Megapod. Contrary to popular belief, weight does not determine the quality of the watch.
WHICH MOVEMENTS ARE YOUR WATCHES FITTED WITH?
Japanese Quartz movements called Miyota. (the brand) Running with a battery, 2 years life. In Automatic (to come) Miyota 9039.
DO YOU SELL AN AUTOMATIC MODEL?
We will launch on kickstarter in March 2020 the Automatic and pre-order for November 2020
WHAT DOES 5 ATM WATER RESISTANT MEAN?
With a 5 ATM watch, you can take your shower but cannot dive. The normal atmospheric pressure at sea level is 1 ATM. (ATM for atmospheres) So fine for showering, splashes, rain, snow, snorkeling but we do not recommend to swim with it as salt and pools products are not very watches friendly. (also not in a sauna). And please do no use the Chronopod pushers or adjust crown under water.
HOW LONG ARE YOUR WATCHES UNDER GUARANTEE?
All Ikepod watches come with a two year (2 year) manufacturing and workmanship defect warranty. Please refer to the warranty terms and conditions which accompanied your watch at purchase.
WHERE CAN MY VINTAGE IKEPOD BE SERVICED?
The old Ikepods and particularly the round models with top case assembly require a specific tool which only certain watchmakers possess. Please contact Ikepod for a list of the independent watchmakers who have the necessary tools to service the vintage Ikepods in Great Britain and in Switzerland: info@ikepod.com.
HOW TO CHANGE MY BRACELET?
You can change your bracelet with two screwdrivers and a tutorial available on the Ikepod Watches YouTube channel. Only Ikepod bracelets are compatible with the Ikepod case lugs.
